The Way I See It: My Side of the Story (part 3)
Part Three
Considering that I had never reported any money stolen, I asked them if they thought I was stupid or something and to cut the b.s. and tell me what's going on. They confirmed I was the Bobby Buckner from Waco Texas and placed me under arrest but would not tell me nothing, what the charge's were or anything. So I get to the Taney County jail and spend almost a week before I'm shoved before a judge and told me that I was being charged with aggregated sexual assault and that they needed me to sign extradition papers. They still refused to tell me who filed charges on me. I signed the papers and waited to be shipped back to Texas. Which was two more weeks, by then my wife and my boss lady had retained an attorney who had me a bond set and posted by the time I hit the McLennan County jail and I was supposed to walk right out upon arrival but the sheriffs( jailors) were extremely ticked off to see my bond so low and already posted and didn't process me until the following day.
After a very long couple of day's I stepped out of jail to a waiting car of the bond lady who took me to her office and I spoke with John Donahue over the phone where we talked very briefly and he filled me in on who filed the charge's and that he got me approved for a out of state bond due to the fact that this was a low priority case and was probably going to get dismissed due to no evidence. No bond probation just call in every week. I was instructed to get on the Greyhound bus and go home. I was on bond for almost three years before my trial actually took place and even then my attorney told me I would come down and make an appearance, get a new date scheduled for trial and go back home.
July 13,2011 I walked into the McLennan county courthouse thinking I was going to get rescheduled due to my attorney's son's baseball team were supposed to go to the playoffs. As it turned out they lost the game before the playoffs and I got shoved in front of a jury trial instead of getting rescheduled. I had nobody there with me other than my wife and we had been separated for about the last four or five months. Everybody wanted to come down and be a character witness on my behalf but the way it was played no one got to.
Ashley was 16 years old in 2008 when she had become pregnant and was caught with cocaine then files a report on me claiming I molested her back in 2000. She was 18 at the time of trial in 2011.
One of the things that Ashley had claimed at trial was that a 22 year old grown man picked her up from school "without being on the list of approved persons to pick up" took her to her mother's apartment and had vaganal sex with a seven year old and put her back in the vehicle drove for fifteen minutes to pick her mother up from work in Hewitt, Tx, and the mother didn't notice anything out of the ordinary with her daughter and then drove fifteen more minutes back to the mother's apartment and at no point did Sonya Lopez notice anything out of the ordinary with her daughter.
This is all in the transcripts. YOU KNOW WHY SONYA LOPEZ DIDN'T NOTICE ANYTHING OUT OF THE ORDINARY WITH ASHLEY, IT'S BECAUSE SHE LIED. First the keeper of records at her school said there would had been a copy of my driver's license on file if I had picked her up and there was not.
Second, "a expert should had been at trial to refute this statement." I do not believe it to be possible for a seven year old to go through such a traumatic event and be able to maintain her behavior so that her mother doesn't notice.
One of the many discrepancies, it's hard to get all of them in order without referring to the transcripts.
Ashley claimed to have been sexually abused by a man with throat cancer and my attorney hurried up and shifted the line of questioning he said something to the effect that this was Bobby Buckner's trial not that guy. I felt it was relevant to the situation and questioning should have continued.
